We’re looking for our next Executive Director.

The Shalom Project seeks a half-time Executive Director to guide the organization and support our young adult participants.

Job requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in non-profit leadership.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Tend to the growth and formation of Shalom Project participants through weekly seminars, individual check-ins, and retreats

  • Pay attention to emerging needs from participants and the community, and, when appropriate, develop initiatives to respond to needs

  • Attend regular board meetings and provide a director’s report

  • Manage and develop partnerships with local organizations and congregations

  • Coordinate annual fundraising strategy and events

  • Collaborate with the Connection Developer in planning, coordinating, and attending recruiting events

  • Field and process participant applications and arrange internships

Salary range: 

$29,000 - $34,000

Preferred start date:

June 1, 2024
