Julian Harnish

Julian is a 2019 Shalom Project Alumnus who worked with the organization as a Project Manager in 2020 and 2021. Since then he has held various leadership roles at Homefields Care Farm as a Lead Farm Hand, Farm Supervisor, and Development Coordinator. Since graduating from the program, he has lived in two intentional communities and draws from these experiences to inform his role as Executive Director of The Shalom Project. Outside of work, Julian is a talented pianist and enjoys playing at local venues and churches.

Alysha works to build Shalom Project connections and manages the program’s finances. She graduated from Messiah College with a degree in Christian Ministries in 2020, and after college joined The Shalom Project as a participant. Her Shalom year was a meaningful and transformative experience, and she feels very fortunate to be able to continue her involvement with the Shalom Project, inviting others to experience God’s peace through community and service.
